How far in advance do I need to place an order for a catering platter?

A: We recommend calling about a party platter at least 48 hrs in advance. Family platters are available to go.

How many people does one platter serve?

A: The Family Platter feeds 4-6 people. The Party Platter will serve 10-12 people. The Ultimate platter serves 15 people.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or other dietary needs?

A: Yes, we cater vegan meat substitutes. However, our platters include all the meat options from our restaurant menu, but in larger portions to cater for a small party or event. We offer our vegetarian sides and vegan salad from the catering menu.

Our meat, rubs and sides are gluten-free.

Can I mix and match items on a platter?

A: No. The platters include all of the restaurant’s menu options, but in larger portions, like for a family dinner to go, small-party catering, or corporate lunch platters.

Do you offer custom Barbecue options?

A: Not with the platters. If you want custom catering, let us know that you would like to create a custom menu.

Do you offer customizable platters for special dietary needs?

A: No. The dietary needs we provide for are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free diets.

Do you offer themed platters for holidays or special occasions?

No, we don’t offer themed platters.

Can you create a “signature Billy Dick’s Barbecue” platter?

Yes, we can! Add barbacoa, pork belly, pastrami, flat iron with our turkey breast, spare ribs, brisket or pulled pork.

Are sauces and sides included with the platters?

Yes, our house-made sauces and sides, Apple Dill Coleslaw, Barbecue Beans, Barbecue Sauce and Mustard Sauce. The Ultimate Platter includes Horseradish Truffle sauce.

How do I schedule a platter order for my event?

Please call us and let us know the date and time you will pick it up.

Can I make changes to my platter order after placing it?

It depends on what the changes are. If you want to add more food to the order, that’s not a problem. Call us as soon as you have changes.

What happens if my guest count changes at the last minute?

The platter sizes come with a specific amount of food per portion. There is no option to customize a platter to party numbers.

How long will platters stay fresh after pickup or delivery?

A: The platter needs to be refrigerated after 2 hours.

Are taxes and gratuity included in the platter price?

A: Taxes are additional. We don’t charge gratuities.

Do you provide plates, cutlery, and serving tools?

A: We provide plates and cutlery.

Can platters be used for both small family gatherings and corporate events?

A: Yes! Our platters offer two ways to enjoy them for events and corporate events. Enjoy as a sandwich or a plated meal with meat and sides.

Do you offer bundle packages for parties or corporate events?

A: Yes, contact us to discuss.

What happens if I cancel or change the Pickup date?

A: If the date changes, no problem. If you need to cancel, let us know.

What areas do you deliver catering platters to?

We don’t deliver platters unless pre-arranged. Within the Barrie area. Additional fees apply outside of the Barrie area.

Are there delivery fees for platters?

There are delivery fees when you order with Uber Eats or Skip the Dishes. We charge $0.80 per KM for delivery.

Can I combine platters with your full catering menu?

Yes!

Can platters be made for kid-friendly portions?

We can cut the brisket into kid-sized portions if requested.

Pickup is easy at our downtown Barrie restaurant.

Street parking is free after 5 pm, on weekends and on holidays.
